Livable Places is a unique non-profit organization dedicated to making the Los Angeles region more livable and environmentally sustainable — through the development of model urban infill communities — and by promoting planning and land use policies that emphasize smart and sustainable growth.

Founded in 2000 by a group of housing advocates and environmentalists, Livable Places brings together expertise in planning, architecture, construction, finance and public policy to create urban communities that are affordable, sustainable, diverse, and neighborly.
